Project Runway judge and Elle Editor-at-Large Nina Garcia will visit the Tribeca Barnes & Noble on Tuesday, August 26 to discuss her new book, The One Hundred: A Guide to the Pieces Every Stylish Woman Must Own. In the book, Garcia discusses the items that she considers to be timeless, essential additions to a woman’s wardrobe. The event will take place at 7:00 p.m.

Kathy Reichs Visits Barnes & Noble: August 26

Kathy Reichs will visit the Barnes & Noble on Broadway and 82nd Street on Tuesday, August 26 to discuss Devil Bones, her latest book starring forensic anthropologist Temperance Brennan. The tale follows Brennan as she investigates the deaths of two teens in Charlotte, North Carolina, both of which hint at possible voodoo and devil worship.

The Temperance Brennan books serve as the inspiration for the FOX series Bones, starring Emily Deschanel and David Boreanaz.

TV Pick: Tabatha’s Salon Takeover, Series Premiere

Bravo’s new show, Tabatha’s Salon Takeover, debuts on Thursday, August 21 at 10 p.m. EST. Cameras follow Tabatha Coffey, a contestant from the first season of Shear Genius, as she uses her take-charge attitude to whip struggling hair salons into shape. Voted Fan Favorite during her time on Shear Genius, she owns Industrie Hair Studio in Ridgewood, New Jersey. Her work has appeared in Marie Claire, Mademoiselle, and New York Fashion Week.

TV Pick: The Cho Show, Series Premiere

The Cho Show, starring comedian Margaret Cho, will premiere on Thursday, August 21 at 11 p.m. EST on VH1. The content of the seven-episode, half-hour series will be partially unscripted; it will also involve scripted situations based on incidents from her life. Cho—who is also the show’s Executive Producer—brings her friends, family, and entourage along for the ride.
